Fabrics Indian silks, local handloom silk called “meydane”, cotton fabrics.
Techniques Celtic applique, shadow applique.
Completion 120 quilt hours
Artist’s comments It’s a generally accepted fact that working with silk is harder than working with cottons. Especially in the placement of the appliques and the quilting phases, it’s seriously worrysome as the silk is prone to streching so easily.We made really too much effort to create a flawless appearance.
