| Artist’s comments | I made this bedspread for my coming grandchild. The design of each part as a fairy tale or imaginary scene and making them into a coherent work was indeed a challenge. I wanted it to be fun, as it would belong a baby, and wanted it to express that I would do all in my power for my first grandchild. Maybe because everyone has some little bundle of joy in one’s life, A Bunch of Fairy Tales has attracted considerable attention of people who have seen my works in exhibitions and other means. |
